Australian Traction Batteries Pty Ltd (hereafter "ATB") Guarantee to support all Original Manufacturers Warranty on all new products sold through ATB. Warranty will be void if the customer has failed to comply with the manufacturers warranty requirements. ATB guarantee to repair or replace (at our option) any defect or fault in materials or workmanship performed on all service and repair work provided by ATB for a period of 30 days from the date of said service or repair.

THIS WARRANTY WILL NOT APPLY TO:

This guarantee is void and will not be binding upon ATB in the event that any part has been subject to misuse, negligence, accidental damage, improper or inadequate maintenance, improper storage or improper installation.

Repair rendered necessary or arising from the use of other than genuine parts.

Normal maintenance items

Normal replacements of service items

Deterioration of any item due to normal use, fair wear and exposure unless due to a defect in material or workmanship.

Any work or adjustment performed by persons other than authorised Trained battery technicians or damage resulting therefrom.

Any damage that results from operating methods other than those indicated in the owner's manual or use beyond the limitations or specifications as published by the Original Manufacturer.

Any product modified from the original specifications.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

This guarantee is granted to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to any heirs or successors in title thereof unless renegotiation between ATB and the recipient has occurred within 14 days of such transfer or sale of goods. Proof of purchase, or transfer will be required. Renegotiation will be at the discretion of ATB who reserves the right to decline any such transfer of warranty.

ATB will not be liable for any consequential losses including loss of profits or damage to property.

This guarantee does not apply to colour, which may in time fade or change.

ATB must be notified of any defect or fault within seven (7) days of it occurring and given the opportunity to inspect the item within twenty-eight (28) days of such notification, OTHERWISE THE GUARANTEE IS VOID.

In the event of war, riot, civil commotion, terrorist activities, or effect from nature (eg: including but not limited to storm, flood, earthquake), this guarantee is void. The determination and/or application of this clause remains solely at the discretion of Australian Traction Batteries Pty. Ltd.

The guarantee does not cover damage to unsecured items e.g. by movement, battery changing, transportation, etc.

The purchaser acknowledges having fully read and understood the contents of this guarantee and agrees to be bound thereby.
